Fred Phelps to Picket Falwell Funeral
You’d think the two would be best of friends, but apparently Fred Phelps didn’t like the competition.
This is for the funeral of the lying, false prophet Jerry Falwell. He was not a hero, nor was he honorable. He was nothing more than a wolf in sheep’s clothing, and he has made those that follow in his folly to be twice as evil as he is.
The website for the Westboro Baptist Church, www.godhatesamerica.com, has posted a schedule of its upcoming protests and has adorned their front page with a ranting screed that seems to be reaching a little far in its justifications. I’m not encouraging you to read it by any means as it’s annoyingly coarse and poorly worded. Not to mention the font and html problems. I think I’ll register www.fredphelpswebdesignerisadouchebagandgodhateshim.com.
This is another obvious attempt by the Westboro clan to draw libelous reportage, violent attacks, or civil rights abuses from those angered by its presence. But with the Falwell clan and the Phelps clan within a half mile radius from each other, isn’t this going to create a world annihilating black hole of hatred?
