I saw Scott McClellan on The Daily Show last night, and yes... he really is a weasel. Jon Stewart pushed him to the edge about how the Bush Administration willfully decided to not disclose the known cost estimates and the known risks to the American people during their campaign for the war that they really, really wanted to start. Jon gave Scottie several opportunities to come right out and say that willful deception is lying, but Scottie backed off every time saying that he didn't think it was really lying and that he thinks Bush really thought he was doing the right thing, even though it didn't turn out so well.

Scott McClellan showed me that he is too weak and his ties to Bush are too strong for him to make a clean break and state in no uncertain terms that the Bush Administration is made up of the most dishonest group of elected officials and cabinet members this country has ever seen. He could of said that, in retropsect, he was ashamed to be a part of it, and he's glad that he got out, and wished he'd got out sooner.

Book sales are up though...
