Do I miss a president who authorized torture?

Do I miss a president who spoke English like it was his second language?

Do I miss a president who appointed two Supreme Court Justices that built the majority opinion that says corporations are people?

Do I miss “heh heh heh…?” (well, a little maybe.)

  1. Hey Matt R.,

Obama never proposed socilized medicine, and the bills currently in the House and Senate aren’t even close to Socialism. Perhaps you should take some government classes, because you clearly don’t know what you are talking about.

Communists in the Obama Administration? Name them. Prove they are communists. Stop talking out of your ass.

Deficits are a the result of the recession and bad tax policy. Respected economists around the world believe that government stimulus spending to create jobs and demand for goods and services is the correct approach. The only thing wrong with Obama’s initial package was that it wasn’t big enough, and now he has to ask for more. Read Krugman and Keynes. You might learn something.

Waterboarding is torture, and the U.S. government has admitted to waterboarding KSM something like 150 times. People in the military have admitted to doing it once they left. Read about it in the papers. Many other interrogation methods that the Bush’s hacks in his Justice Dept. approved are categorized as torture by civlized countries around the globe. The USA said the very same tactics were torture before 9-11, and President Obama has banned the practices since he took office.

The wiretapping law was not passed by Congress. Bush seized executive power and implemented it, and lied about it. The weak-kneed congress wrote him a CYA bill so that those in his Administration could not be prosecuted for breaking the laws. The phone companies were given retroactive immunity too. That’s called fascism. Look it up.

You call yourself a Republican I bet, so it’s shocking to me that you would approve of such secretive, intrusive, Big Brother like tactics by your government.

All politicians use teleprompters. Yes, even Sarah when she forgets to scribble notes on her hands. Even McCain. Even Bush. Even Clinton, Reagan, Carter… I think you get it. The difference is striking when it comes to extemporaneous speaking. In that arena, Obama is far superior to his predecessor, and it’s quite refreshing.

Your Osama comments are so fucking retarded, they are not worthy of reply.

Go read the newspaper. Check out some history books at the Socialist Public Library in your community.

    Cheers,

    the Captain.

  2. Just stumbled on this site.

“Do I miss a president who had no regard for the Constitution?” Gee, I guess Obama trying to force feed the American People a socialized healthcare is not a violation of the constitution, huh? Or the TRILLIONS upon TRILLIONS of dollars he has raised in debt. Oh, and lest I forget, the communist he appointed as a czar, and then the Mao lover he had as another czar…

“Do I miss a president who gave away trillions in tax cuts to the super rich?” The tax cuts were a good thing. Where “W” went wrong, was he did not cut spending.

“Do I miss a president who started two wars and didn’t finish one of them?”
Really? Iraq was questionable, but Afghanistan? I guess you think we should have tried to understand what we did to make Osama attack us, and then change our ways. Silly us for letting women drive, or act, or work, or let their faces be seen in public. What were we thinking?

“Do I miss a president who authorized torture?” Nothing has ever been proven about us torturing people. So, if you consider accusations as facts, then lets get Obama out of office. People have accused him of not even being and American Citizen.

“Do I miss a president who lied about wiretapping U.S. Citizens without warrants?” I guess you mean the Patriot Act? You know, the law that was passed with 98% of the vote in both the House and the Senate…..

“Do I miss a president who spoke English like it was his second language?” Yeah, I will give you this one. If I give Obama no other credit, he can read a teleprompter like nobody else…..
